“Rosary Around the Lake” Returns to Lake Charles, LA
On October 3, for the 4th consecutive year, the Ruth Institute will hold a Rosary Around the Lake in Lake Charles, LA, in conjunction with Rosary Coast to Coast.
According to the Rosary Coast to Coast website, “In 2021, the Spiritual Battle has intensified with the forces of evil becoming even more extreme in their positions against Life from conception to birth to natural death and the Sanctity of Marriage and Family. These forces manifest a radical rebellion against God’s creation of man and woman into which they seek to indoctrinate even our children.”
Ruth Institute President Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse, Ph.D., said: “I heartily concur with these sentiments. All of these evils are embodied in the Sexual Revolution, which the Ruth Institute is dedicated to fighting. A brief survey of our press releases shows our concern and our dedication to the cause.”
Rosary Around the Lake begins at 2PM with the Most Reverend Glen John Provost, Bishop of Lake Charles, leading the Apostles Creed and Lake Charles Mayor, Nic Hunter, leading the first Lord’s Prayer. Groups and individuals representing different facets of the local community will lead the decades of the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary.
“Whether or not you’re Catholic, we encourage you to join us in prayer,” Morse said. “Anyone who can pray the Rosary with us in good conscience is welcome to come and participate. We encourage all people of good will to be united in praying for the welfare of our community and country.”
