Step 7

We never give up!

“It wasn’t my fault, but I now take responsibility. I take responsibility, with joy. Seeing myself and others clearly, allows me to truly love and serve others. I embrace my mission to love with abandon. I love particular people and places. I never tire of doing good!”

Recovery from the Sexual Revolution can be a long and involved process. God forgives us completely and fully. But the natural consequences of sin can linger for a long time in our lives and in the lives of others.

We sometimes find it beneficial to have logical, clear, concise arguments for why the Sexual Revolution has not worked and will not work. We need to be sure we are on the right track, especially when it seems that people or events are arrayed against us.

The Ruth Institute specializes in creating this very kind of information. We have information about the public policies that have created and that sustain the Sexual Revolution.  This kind of logical, scientific and historical information will give you the confidence that you need to sustain yourself over the long haul.

We must recall too, that the structures of our society are now built around the premises of the Sexual Revolution. That means that many more people will continue to be harmed and seduced into participating.  Structural problems this deep will not be solved by any one political candidate or public policy or cultural institution.

The best hope for bringing about lasting change is a grassroots social movement that hunkers down for the long haul.  You are becoming part of that movement, the Ruth Movement.

Besides, the mission to love is worth doing in any case. Whether we win or lose a particular battle, we are following Jesus. What could be better than that?

Remember: you are on the Right Side of History! Following Jesus is always the Right Side of History!

Congratulations! You are on your way from being a Victim, to being a Survivor to being an Advocate for positive change!
