The Archbishop of San Francisco, Salvatore Cordileone, has been ruthlessly attacked by the Gay Left and their allies. Someone (no one seems to know who) has hired an expensive public relations firm to smear the Archbishop. The final straw was a full-page ad in the San Francisco Chronicle by “100 Catholic Leaders” asking Pope Francis to replace Archbishop Cordileone.

Here is something you can do to help the Archbishop. Write a letter to the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States. The Apostolic Nuncio is roughly the equivalent of the ambassador of the Holy See to the United States. His Excellency, the Most Reverend Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano.
Respectfully ask him to convey to the Holy Father that you believe in Archbishop Cordileone, that you value his forthright defense of traditional morality,
that people are attacking him because he is doing what is right, and that the people attacking him are not representative of the people of the United
State.

If you have had any personal contact with Archbishop Cordileone, feel free to mention that. Make sure your letter is heartfelt, respectful and focused
on positive things about the Archbishop. You need not say anything negative about the other people. But if you do, make sure you balance it with multiple
positive statements about the Archbishop and his policies. I have created a list some specific things you can say in your letter, in a separate post.

You can write a letter, even if you are not Catholic, even if you are not in San Francisco, even if you are not in America. The people attacking him are
playing for high stakes and we must support the Archbishop and everything he stands for.

Here is the Nuncio’s address. And yes, you must write an actual letter! This makes it more formal and respectful, which is what we want when addressing
the equivalent of the Holy See’s Ambassador to the United States.

His Excellency, the Most Reverend Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano
