Mat has over 300 published legal opinions. He authored eight scholarly law review publications, and many books and publications. He is a frequent guest on many international and national television and radio programs and has been interviewed for thousands of media sources.
Mat has filed numerous briefs and argued in many federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He has argued two landmark cases before SCOTUS: Madsen v. Women's Health Center, and, McCreary County v. ACLU of Kentucky.
Prior to law school, Mat pastored several churches.
In Otto v. City of Boca Raton, therapist Robert Otto sued the city for the right to talk with clients about their feelings of sexual attraction, the impact of those feelings, and strategies for improving the quality of their lives. The City of Boca Raton had passed an ordinance criminalizing “conversion therapy,” or “reparative therapy,” or, Sexual Orientation Change Efforts.
It is simply not true that sexual orientation is an immutable trait. There is no "gay gene." But if the Sexual Revolutionaries can convince people that gay is like being black, then they can apply anti-discrimination law to sexual behavior.
The scientific fact is that there are numerous ways into an LGBT lifestyle, and there are numerous ways out. The Dr J Show has featured many people who left the "gay" lifestyle, happily.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit agreed with Mat Staver that this particular form of speech must not be banned.

What do you do with research that doesn't match your opinion? You demonize it, of course. That shows how tolerant you are.

Brian Camenker has been interviewed by American Family Radio (with Sandy Rios, Janet Mefferd, Bryan Fischer, Charlie Butts), Michael Brown (Line of Fire), Cherilyn Bacon Eagar (Red State Talk Radio), RoadKill Radio (British Columbia), and dozens of other radio shows, TV stations, and newspapers around the world. The organization's articles have appeared in American Thinker, Salvo Magazine, BarbWire, LifeSiteNews, The Massachusetts News, and The Jewish Advocate. In earlier years (when the mainstream media still reported on these issues) we were featured in the NBC Nightly News, CNN, CBS, ABC Evening News, MSNBC, National Public Radio, New York Times, and Fox News (O’Reilly Factor, Hannity & Colmes, and America’s Newsroom with Megyn Kelly).
More about MassResistance below the cut.
MassResistance was founded in 1995 as Parents’ Rights Coalition. Since we were in the first state to see homosexual activism in the schools and “gay marriage,” we thoroughly understood the threat of sexual radicalism, curtailed freedom of speech, uneven application of the law, judicial activism, and post-constitutional government. We adopted the name MassResistance in 2006 when our role as the true resistance to tyrannical government became clear.
Boston Herald columnist Howie Carr once described us as a “hardcore pro-family group.” We cover issues and events other conservative groups are afraid to touch. We don’t compromise with the Left. We provide analysis so the average person understands what’s really happening. And we give citizens and activists everywhere the tools and strategy to effectively confront the anti-family forces against them.
In contrast, rather than being truthful and confrontational, too many pro-family groups want to be seen as “reasonable" and “not extreme." They tend to "fight" by writing commentary, re-posting shocking articles, and putting up a polite opposition to the latest left-wing lunacy. So they don't accomplish much.
But MassResistance focuses on exposing the harsh truths. Our two published books provide examples: In 2011 we exposed former Governor Mitt Romney’s soft record towards homosexuality, along with his unconstitutional implementation of “gay marriage.” In 2017, we published The Health Hazards of Homosexuality, which has been called a tour de force by the president of the American College of Pediatricians.

This week we offer the powerful testimony of Paul Darrow, a victim of the Sexual Revolution whose transformed life has given hope to many entangled in same-sex attraction.

Paul moved to Manhattan immediately after graduating college and became an international fashion model, a pleasure-seeker, and an atheist. His former hedonistic life, glamorous career, and ties to high society have provided him with invaluable insight into today’s alternative lifestyles. But Jesus changed his life forever. Shortly after converting to Catholicism, Paul was surprised to find himself being filmed as a subject for the award-winning movie Desire of the Everlasting Hills, which won the JP2 Film Festival Award. Paul's conversion story is so powerful that he was invited to speak at the Angelicum in Rome, where he pleaded with Cardinals and other clergy to defend and propagate the teachings of the Catholic Church on homosexuality. That is where Dr J met him!
Paul has appeared on EWTN and is a frequent guest on talk radio from coast to coast. Whether giving presentations to high school and college students, priests, seminarians, penitentiary inmates or Catholic groups across the U.S. and in Europe, Paul shares his unusual testimony in order to be a living example that God’s grace is more powerful than even the greatest of human temptations.

(November
23, 2019) The Ruth Institute and Stations of the Cross are pleased to present "Something More Beautiful," a talk by Hudson Byblow about his journey
through same-sex attraction and beyond labels. Hudson's search for truth led beyond current cultural labels that are liberally applied to situations
like his. This kind of narrative isn't as findable, but we're working to change that: check out our cloud of witnesses for more information.
