Good question. A large family is one that is bigger than normal for your country. (The Ruth Youth come from all over the world.) To find the norm for your country, go to this chart helpfully provided by the CIA. (What else do they have to do, but run around and count babies?)

 

If you are from the USA, you have a large family if you have 2.1 kids. If you are from Ukraine, you only have to have more than 1.25 kids in your family. If you're from the Philippines, you have to have more than 3.32 kids to count as large. We'll leave it to you to figure out how to round the numbers!
