For the Inaugural "It Takes a Family" student conference in Aug of '09, our gala was held at the
University
of San Diego, in a beautiful outdoor setting. Master of Ceremonies, Chuck LiMandri, ![]()
counsel
for the National Organization for Marriage and noted
Prop 8 attorney directed the festivities with the keynote address delivered by our own, Dr. Jennifer
Roback Morse. We had some 200 attendees, including the students of ITAF '09.
This year, we are fortunate to have as our keynote speaker, noted psychiartrist and author, Dr. Miriam
Grossman, author of the best selling books, of "Unprotected" and "You're Teaching My
Child
What?"
Dr. Grossman's topic for her keynote address is entitled, "Truths
That
Cannot be Told: How ideology
trumps biology in sex education." In addition to Dr. Grossman, Ruth Institute founder,
Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse will also provide remarks.
Those students chosen to for the ITAF '10 conference will be in attendance, as well.
If the excitement and enthusiasm for the defense of marriage exhibited at last year's event is any indication, this year should prove to be that much more invigorating.
Don't miss this event. There will be a chance to hear the doctors' presentations, as well as an opportunity
to meet with other like-minded soldiers in the fight for marriage AND the students
chosen
to attend the conference itself. We hope you will consider sponsoring an entire table of ten, and bringing
with you friends and associates who are also committed to shoring up the concept of traditional marriage
in our time.
The particulars are: Aug 12, 2010 at the Renaissance Airport Hotel, in Los Angeles (near LAX). Reception at 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 7:00 p.m.
