Every family in America has been affected by Family Breakdown. You are not alone.
  • Are you tired of the drama and insecurity and lovelessness, and wonder how you can feel better?
  • Are you heartbroken and wonder what you can do to help your family, including your kids or grandkids?
  • Do you wonder how we got into such a mess and how we can recover?

Come to the Ruth Institute's "Healing Family Breakdown" Half-Day Retreat, and regain hope! Put into practice the practical family-building virtues of mercy, empathy, and togetherness.

What you can expect at the Healing Family Breakdown Retreat:
  • Prior to the Retreat, you will choose one person as the focal point of your prayer and meditation. Perhaps someone who has been harmed by family breakdown, or who has harmed others by breaking up a family.
  • You will have the opportunity to grow in practical virtues that support solid family life.
  • You will feel empowered to draw people closer to Jesus Christ.
  • You will gain knowledge about the social structures that have caused family breakdown and the confidence to discuss these issues with others.
The program will include these elements:
  • Pre-retreat preparation:
    • Suggested prayers
    • Suggested short readings
  • Half-day retreat running from 9:00-12:30.
    • Short talks
