Dr. Paul Church was a practicing urologist for more than 35 years, he was also involved with clinical research and teaching as an Assistant Professor of
Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He was fired from his job, his career was destroyed, his life was upended, and his medical license was nearly revoked
when he merely advocated for healthy choices, and criticized hospital superiors for promoting unhealthy behaviors.

Dr. Church challenged the administration of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center to be more truthful and honest about the negative health consequences
inherent with high risk and unhealthy LGBTQIA+ sexual behaviors and to be more respectful of the diversity of religious and moral views regarding sodomy.
He was met with increasing efforts to silence his concerns. Despite an outpouring of public support and legal representation from Liberty Counsel,
he was expelled from the medical staff in December 2015. Two other hospitals where Dr. Church held appointments for years followed suit and expelled
him as well. A fourth hospital revoked their offer to join the medical staff, fearing repercussions from the LGBT community.

Dr. Church is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and medical volunteer or leader of eleven short-term medical mission projects in
Mexico and Africa. He has two married daughters and six grandchildren. He was honored with a Citizenship Award by MFI in 2015 and a similar award from
the Catholic Medical Association in 2016. He retired from clinical practice November 1, 2017.
